I read a lot, mostly fiction, mostly mysteries. But I've noticed lately that I sometimes return them to the library without finishing them. Not going to waste my time with something not fully engaging.

I used to feel guilty about my choice of reading material (not intellectual enough) until I heard a very famous, intellectual person mention that he reads mysteries for the same reason I do--to read about an interesting locale or to learn about a culture/group. So, moral is, why feel guilty about our choice of reading? Enjoy what you enjoy!

I'm afraid I also couldn't stay in for the long haul with 22 yards of weaving the same warp, although I admire the complexity of your design and your tenacity in weaving it. Again, we do what we enjoy!

BTW, I had heard that Obama's book is really well-written. Maybe I'll actually branch into non-fiction occasionally.

I'm rediscovering my love of reading. It's like running across and old flame and picking up again where you left off.

Interests come, interests go. I don't think there's an amusements police. ;>

Elizabeth Moon's Speed of Dark is a compelling book. I loved it. But of course, YMMV. I had been off reading for awhile (when I was working at being a pro fiction writer, it was too much like work.) Now that that's over or at least very back burnered, I

Normally I buy my cashmere at http://www.colourmart.com , which specializes in remaindered silks and cashmere. However, this cashmere-mohair I bought from a seller on eBay, murielleh. She doesn't seem to have any listed right now, but you might send her an eBay message and see if she still has any more.
