		<description>Yes, the slightly longer motifs will be more flattering.  Using the first yard or so just to get everything straightened out is what I am definitely going to have to do on my next piece.  I just hate &quot;wasting&quot; warp like that, but, of course, it&#039;s not really wasting warp at all.  I once tried weaving with metallic and the springiness really turned me off.  One of the really good weavers (I think it was either Laura or Sandra) recently had a post where they showed a photo of their shuttle with two small bobbins in it.  Perhaps this would help?</description>

		<description>Try to line the pirn with rabbit fur.  The fur will prevent the springy yarn from leaping off the end and regulate the let off.
