I used to keep snakes, and still have a page dedicated to my Brazilian rainbow boas, Isis, Astarte, and Vulcan. I love snakes--gorgeous, gentle, and graceful animals. Easy to take care of, too.

Here are some photos from ALC2...there is also my rider journal on the official AIDS Lifecycle Webcast.
From June 1-7, 2008, I bicycled 550 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles as part of AIDS Lifecycle 7. I had not expected to be able to ride every mile, as exercise induced asthma and a sprained ankle had kept me from training as well as I'd have liked to, and my longest back-to-back rides had been a pair of 70-milers. But I was surprised!
I visited my brother's place at Christmas, 2005, and was lucky enough to witness a hedgehog-washing. I captured it for posterity with my cell phone.
