Congratulations! The dark Celtic knotwork  egg is just stunning. Have you ever tried to use an Emu egg? It is a little rough but can be smoothed off. The aboriginals actually engrave them and cut images into the shell which on the outside is dark green and gradually gets lighter the deeper one cuts and so giving a 3 dimensional effect. Could be of interest. Possibly an Ostrich egg would be similar.
