Um, check my previous goal of getting the entire website migrated this week. Do you have ANY idea how many pages of travel photos I have??? At about half an hour per page, thirty-seven pages, that’s going to take me a LOOOONG time. And the travel section is only about half my website…so we are talking a LOT of time here.
Still, with perseverance, I’m sure I’ll make it through. Meanwhile, the Ghana section is now up, so if you haven’t already checked that out, mosey on over and take a look. Among other things, it has a detailed description of kente weaving (strip-weaving), which I put together while spending 5 days studying weaving with a member of the Ewe tribe.
Today I’m meeting with a woman who may be able to help me draft the pattern for the wedding-coat. I want one relatively simple alteration to it, so it shouldn’t be difficult. I also need to ring up a woman who may be able to help me draft the pattern for the wedding-dress.
Bobbin-winder is still broken, so no weaving today. 🙁
